Strategic Plan

The Media Council has launched its First Strategic Plan for the 12th Five Year Plan (2020-2023). This Strategic Plan has been developed as a blueprint for the development and promotion of the media sector in Bhutan.

Accreditation Regulation

This regulation emphasizes on the accreditation procedures and criterias for the grant of accreditation to all media practitioners. It will give an insight to not only the rights of an accredited journalist but also their duties and obligations after obtaining the accreditation.

Code of Ethics for Journalists

This ‘Code of Ethics for Journalists’ will foster the highest professional and ethical standards of journalism, promote public understanding of and confidence in the Bhutanese media. A Journalist shall, therefore, conduct themselves in consonance with the mentioned principles and observe these principles both in letter and in spirit.
