Official on transfer joins Media Council: Ms. Thinlay Zangmo, Information and Media Officer has formally joined the Media Council (MCB) on transfer from Bhutan InfoComm and Media Authority on September 7, 2020. The Chief Information and Media Officer profoundly welcomed her as she is able to join the Council fraternity at this critical juncture. Stressing the mandates of the Council, he briefed her on the functional roles and responsibilities of the Council, achievement of the Council in the past one year and the way forward amongst others.
Ms. Thinlay was originally due to join the Council on August 11, 2020 but was forced to defer it due to the lockdown since August 11, 2020. The Chief wished her a long and a fruitful career in the Council.
